Overview

The high-quality horizontal axis wind turbine has optional power ratings of 800W or 1000W.Designed with 24V or 48V rated voltage, the starting wind speed is only 2m/s, and the safe wind speed limit is ≤45m/s.Featuring 3 nylon fiber blades with flange mounting method, it is suitable for rare-earth PM generators with NdFeB magnet steel material. The generator is equipped with electromagnetic braking system, automatic downwind regulation of wind power, and can operate efficiently within the operating temperature range of -40℃ to 80℃.

Horizontal wind turbine 800 to 1000w feature

Feature

  • Off grid wind turbine, perfectly adapted to off grid wind power system.
  • HAWT wind turbine can be used in a wide range of applications, such as rooftop, caravan, camping and street lighting.
  • The hawt turbine is characterized by high wind resistance, low vibration and start-up wind speed, and high wind energy utilization.

Details

  1. The surface of wheel hub is oxidized by plastic spraying, which enhances the corrosion resistance.
  2. Convenient flange design for easy installation and maintenance.
  3. The double groove ball bearings are thicker, which are not easy to shake when the machine is running.
  4. Adopting high-temperature resistant Teflon wire, it is not easy to burn the wire when the generator is overloaded and heated.

FAQ

Q1. How does a horizontal wind turbine generate electricity?

Horizontal wind turbines harness the kinetic energy of the wind to generate electricity. The turbine blades, positioned horizontally, capture the wind's force, causing them to spin. This rotational motion is then transferred to a generator, converting mechanical energy into electrical power. The generated electricity can be used to power homes, businesses, or be stored for later use.

Q2. What factors affect the efficiency of an 800w/1000w horizontal wind turbine?

The efficiency of a HAWT is influenced by various factors, including wind speed, blade design, and site location. Higher wind speeds generally result in increased power generation. Optimal blade design is crucial for capturing maximum energy from the wind. Additionally, choosing an appropriate location with consistent and strong wind patterns enhances overall efficiency.

Q3. Can a horizontal wind turbine be used in urban environments?

Yes, hawt turbines are suitable for urban environments, but proper considerations must be taken. These turbines are often designed to be quieter and visually unobtrusive. Additionally, lower wind speeds in urban areas may impact their efficiency. Careful planning and installation, considering local regulations and wind patterns, are essential to maximize the performance of an 800w/1000w horizontal axis wind turbine in an urban setting.
